The Renewables Innovation Hub was officially opened on Tuesday 22 November 2016 by Shane Rattenbury MLA, Minister for Climate Change & Sustainability.


Launch keynote speakers: Dorte Ekelund (Director-General, Environment and Sustainable Development Directorate, ACT Government), Professor Kenneth Baldwin (Director, Energy Change Institute, ANU), Dr Sarah Pearson (CEO, CBR Innovation Network), Yumi Morrissey (Fashion Designer, Zilpah Tart), Shane Rattenbury MLA.

The high energy event was attended by more than 200 members of Canberra’s vibrant renewables, clean technology, and innovation community.

Dorte Ekelund, Director-General of the Environment and Sustainable Development Directorate, played Master of Ceremonies as the audience heard from representatives from the renewables, innovation, and creative sectors.

The launch of the Renewables Innovation Hub means that membership applications are now open.
