Festival of Big Policy Ideas

June 27 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Disclaimer: While this event has been inspired by the Festival of Ambitious Ideas produced by Lighthouse Business Innovation Centre; the two events are in no way connected.

Four Impressive Innovators. Four Big Ideas. Five Minute Pitches.

This is the Festival of Big Policy Ideas.

The FBPI is an inaugural event bringing together four incredible speakers, in lightning talk format. In just five minutes, each speaker will address what they believe is the biggest issue facing Australian foreign policy and pitch their solution. Then it's over to the audience for questions and conversations. See how the movers and shakers of Canberra are influencing public policy.

Our dream-team of speakers includes:

Lachlan Blackhall on Renewable Energy
Founder of InnovationACT and energy expert

Christina Hobbs on Climate Refugees
Greens candidate and UN economist and food security expert

Siddharth Shirodkar on Indigenous entrepreneurship
Indigenous economic development expert

Tristram Travers on Australian Trade Trumping the Trump Era
International trade expert

This event will be moderated by start up guru and CEO of Entry29, Tom Robinson.
